This was actually my Halloween costume from last year. I’m dressed as Claire Randall Fraser from Outlander, in an 18th century robe de anglaise. I wore it to a Halloween party that turned out to be a surprise wedding, and I had too much fun to get good pictures of the dress. So, this post is all pics– other posts cover the construction and the undergarments. The only thing I added to the costume was a rolled-up towel as a bum pad because I felt like I needed a bit more in the back.
Beautiful. I want one but with a modern twist – the bottom half would be form fitting to the body. Wished I knew you, we’d be sewing buddies. I wonder if you like rug hooking.
