Lilac Linen Shirt Dress

October 20, 2016

This is a fun little dress from some fun fabric.  The fabric is from Fabric Mart (of course) and is a lilac linen that has a plaid design.  The plaid is created by having spaces in the weave, so I have to wear it with a slip.  I actually have a slip that was made… Read More Lilac Linen Shirt Dress

18th Century Undergarments!

October 18, 2016

Summer “Jeans” aka Navy Linen Pants

October 6, 2016

I don’t know about you, but during hot sticky weather, the last thing I want to do is pull on a pair of jeans.  Even though it is October, we have had a couple hot days still.  Obviously I have lots of skirt and dress options, but sometimes I haven’t shaved my legs in awhile,… Read More Summer “Jeans” aka Navy Linen Pants

About Me

I am a weaver who longs to make beautiful and useful things. I love that weaving is a very precise craft that relies on a fair amount of math. I love the motion and rhythm of winding a warp and throwing a shuttle. I love starting with a draft and seeing the design I saw in my mind become a tangible piece of cloth. My love for the my craft goes into everything that I make.

In addition to weaving, I also sew, spin, knit, and dye– almost anything fiber related!
